Work Experience
- Lead team in developing a proposal and working through the vetting process for the City of San Jose
- Assist in presenting to City of San Jose staff throughout the process
- Comanage a team of 20 teachers for the summer camp, including coordinating schedules and helping with curriculum
- Continued growth in school districts by gaining a program in one of the schools at the San Jose Unified School District and Sacred Heart School in Saratoga
- Lead the implementation and selection of a new registration system provided by ActiveNetworks
- Oversee a team of 6 regular teachers to ensure they arrive at their school sites and that the programs are executed correctly
- Lead development of after school programs for both on site programs and extention programs
- Examine and increase enrollments in areas where registrations don't meet minimums
- Train employees on use of registration system and how to answer the phone
- Coordinate with school districts, city employees and staff on distributing flyers in schools around class locations
- Launch and maintain an entirely new web site for the company
- Develop, troubleshoot and debug the new web site
- Manage 20 teachers and two head instructors to ensure program quality and consistency across after school class and camp programming.
- Teach classes and all day camps to children aged 6-14, in groups as large as 14.
- Expand programming to cities in East Bay, South Bay and the Peninsula to generate a total of $500,000 in revenue.

- Upload columns and relevant media through Comics Bulletin's custom CMS
- Decide on publication dates for irregular columns
Accomplishments
- Successfully acquire contract with City of San Jose and oversee the process from presentation to individual centers to contract negotiation
- Build a new web site from the ground up that matches the director's specifications
- Put in charge of covering Alternative Press Expo for Comics Bulletin, turning out 3 articles in 48 hours
